Style is completely subjective to one's personality or being. Finding out your style or which fashions best suit you is completely up to YOU.
As for myself, I currently am in the stages of life where I am coming into my own, but still am trying to find who I am. Everyone around me is making a name for themselves; moving on with life as if they have they have it all figured out. All the while I'm still trying to grasp how far I've come in life and determine where I will be going. I represents that phase of my life-- trying to find myself-- through my clothing and makeup...
sometimes i want to look hardcore and sometimes i want to look like a precious forest child and sometimes i want to look like all cleaned up and classy, and sometimes I want to bum all the way out.
Fashion is all about experimentation. Not trying to conform to how everyone else is looking but making a trend your own and rocking it with total confidence. Like the following; my take on some of my favorite fall trends:
Lace, Leather, and Denim (We'll never be over overalls!)
All of us girls know that one of the best things about sisters is being able to dive into their closet and share clothes. Doing that I paired a little from my closet and a little from my oldest sisters closet and created a super cute, super fun look!
This has got to be one of my favorite outfits that I've put together this winter! For this look I paired a cream lace leo with denim boyfriend overalls. To cover up in this chilly weather I added a super cute and fashionable two toned leather jacket from expressed, matching wedge Ugg booties and teal leg warmers for a pop of color.
All put together, this casual look is perfect for any day-day tasks that you may endure. From going out for a coffee with friends to a late night movie or dinner, you'll be going out in style.

Fall Favorites!
Some of my favorite looks this fall incorporate oversized cable knit sweaters with slim fit pants and ankle boots! I wear this look almost anywhere I go. Sweaters work for an everyday look and they can be dressed up.
I'm also a huge fan of the plums in the makeup category. I've put of a good $100 on lipsticks alone from MAC this season and it is totally worth it!
For an everyday more natural lip, Faux by MAC is my favorite! It shows as a sheer rosy color and applies evenly. I normally pair this lip color with my Maybellen 45 Plum lip pencil and top it off with Revlon Colorburst lip gloss.
The color Rebel by MAC is another one of my favorites. This color goes on as a shiny pinkish purple hue and is just lovely.
New York Big Apple is another of my MAC favs. It's a redish hue with a little bit of a metallic finish. I normally pair this color with my Wet n' Wild lip pencil.
MACs Zen Rose is another of my favorites for fall lip colors. It has a smooth application (as for all MAC lip products) and has a gorgeous pinky tint.
I've always been a big fan of leggings. These faux fur leggings from Forever21 gave me an excuse to wear them for even dressier occasions. These are super comfortable and the zippers allow a playful look.
These MIA boots are to die for! The color goes with just about anything, and it's super easy to dress these babies up or down. The side cut outs in these boots are what caught my eye and despite having a heel they are super comfortable!
I wear this white cable knit from H&M at least once a month. It's super cozy and goes with anything!

Timberland boots weaseled there way into my fall favorites by surprise. I'm a sucker for a cute ankle boot, so I was kind of shocked when I feel in love with these. They aren't the dressiest boots, but they are cute and comfortable. Timberland has made a comeback!

Flower Power
Another color I'm into this fall is a dark red or burgundy; and what's more fitting than dark floral in fall? Pairing high-wasted dark red pants with this black and red floral leo gave me a look perfect for date night or if you're trying to make a statement! Wedged hills boots finish off this cute flowery look!

Faux FUR!
Lately, I have been way too obsessed with the olive color jean for fall/winter. I paired a pair of olive jeans with this new faux fur sweater in brown, a brown belt buckle, and tan boots and honestly fell in love with this look. I like this look because it is totally versatile and flexible. I can pair any of these items with something new to create another awesome look! (Plus this awesome vest is super warm and cozy)
Layers and Plaid
For some reason, when I think Christmas time, I think plaid! So what better way to incorporate plaid into your winter outfits than with layering? Layer a long plaid tunic with a fitted sweater, leggings, and high boots for a classy, festive look!
Who doesn't feel the need to enhance their look with a little makeup? Just remember, with most makeup prodcucts, a little goes a long way! For a natural every day face, the following are some of my favorite makeup products and skin cleansers! It may look like a lot, but the end result is a smooth natural face!
Facial cleansers:
Clinque's 3 step great skin package works great! It includes a face wash, liquid moisturizing cleanser, and a face moistureizer. It leaves the skin looking bright and fresh!
Simple Exfoliating Face Scrub with rice :

Maybeline BB Cream is a must have! It's a product I use everyday and it literally works like a charm. It hydrates, corrects, protects against sun damage, acts as a light coverage foundation and enhances skin tone! This is a must have product.
To cover up dark circles and bags under my eyes I use a simple Mac concealer. Concealer is literally a heavier set foundation and covers everything. When purchasing a concealer try going a shade or two lighter than your foundation and it can act as a highlight for your face.
When I go for a more finished makeup look, my go-to liquid foundation is Maybeline Fit ME. This product goes on really smooth and is very buildable. It can act as a light coverage foundation or it could be built up and act as a heavy coverage foundation just as well! (The shade range for this product is also a plus, they go from the palest of whites to the darkest of browns!)
A facial contour defines your facial features and gives you a more structured look. HOOLA by benefits does the job. It's color shade varies and it is build able. If you want to slim out your face I would recommend this product. (For a cheaper option Elf bronzer duo works just as well for only $3)
MAC's mineralizating face finish gives the skin a smooth finish and a warm, brightening glow. The consistency and transparency of this product is amazing! It goes on with an even application and doesn't mattify the skin too much.
NYX is a great drugstore brand. It works effectively and is very affordable. This Matte-to-Dewy finishing spray works like a charm. It takes a matte, caked on face and transforms it into a clean, dewy, natural finished face! It's a must have product.
Falling for Pleather
It's officially fall, and we all know what that means-- it's SWEATER WEATHER. No matter where it is you're going, or what you're pairing it with, and big cozy sweater is perfect for this season. You can dress it up or down; the options with sweaters are pretty much endless!
This look combines a fringed cardigan with another big trend this season, faux leather leggings. Why not class up your everyday black legging for something a little more edgy and dressy? Throw on some knee high black boots to accent the leggings and you have the perfect, and one of my favorite fall looks.
Top your look off with natural makeup up and statement lip and you're ready to shock the world with your stylish, yet super comfortable new look.
Girls Night
For a more edgy look moto or leather jackets are a must this fall; play around with the colors as a statement piece. Pair a graphic tee, some dark straight legged bottoms, high socks and boots to complete the look. Top the look off with a beanie and fitting jewelry.
Dark monochromatic colors are also big this fall. Dark grey leggings, a white tunic and black ankle boots are perfect for this look. For a pop of color add an accessory such as a scarf.
When going out in the cold weather it's important to stay warm while still looking fashionable. To achieve a look acceptable for any occasion, pair a short pencil skirt with colored tights and matching booties. Keep it cute and cozy with an over sized sweater.
All these looks are sure to turn heads and keep you up to date with the latest trends. Don't be afraid to add or subtract pieces to make it your own.
Feeling Edgy
Who would have ever thought you could bring a summer look into fall? Well, it can happen! This honestly is one of my favorite fall looks! Pairing my high-wasted distressed denim Levi shorts from summer with a printed leotard and and transparent black tights for warmth allowed me to embrace my inner rocker chick! My blackmulti-textured moto jacket, a dark lip, and Dr. Marten inspired Wanted! boots gave this look the edgy appeal I was going for. Not everyone is a fan of this look, but hey, if you like it, rock it!
